Vegan for my health!
Humans are frugivores
We are designed to eat mostly fruit. There is so much evidence that shows this! No other species on the planet develops diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, autoimmune diseases and a long list of other diseases. (I am not talking about pets or animals in zoos, they are fed by humans and do not live in their natural habitat).
The human digestive system is not designed to eat meat. Animals designed to eat meat (carnivores) have 1 or 2 different stomachs, 10 times the stomach acid to break down proteins and an intestinal tract that is 1/8 the length of our intestinal tract.
The human intestinal tract is much longer so we can digest the fiber from fruits and some herbs. When animal protein reaches the end of our long gut, it is already rotting and creating toxic gases that eventually lead to a higher acidity in our blood, which in turn leads to a whole host of health problems and illnesses.
People instinctively crave fruit
Humans are the most biologically advanced species on earth. Fruit is the most advanced part of a plant. People instinctively crave fruit. Put a strawberry and a piece of steak in front of a baby and see what he chooses. He will choose the fruit, always.
Our DNA tells us what to eat
Fruit is colorful! It immediately draws our attention in nature. Fruits are sweet and have an attractive aroma. All species, humans and animals, have a built-in instinct in their DNA to tell them what to eat and how to live.
We are designed to disperse the seed of fruit
Fruit trees want to spread their seeds. The seeds (kernels) can be found in the sweetest part of the plant, so that it is attractive for us to also eat the seeds or eat them right up to the seeds. These seeds then end up on the ground, whether or not through our stools, so that the tree can reproduce. All living organisms on earth want to reproduce!
Fruits are the easiest food to digest
Fruits are the easiest food for humans to digest. This is the greatest proof that we are biologically designed to eat it. It is full of sugar, not processed sugar (!), but the perfect sugar needed for the human body to work efficiently. Later I will debunk the myth that sugar from fruit feeds cancer and causes diabetes. Just because we're able to digest other foods doesn't mean it's right for us. Omnivores are designed to eat everything. People can eat meat, but we are not made for that. It makes us sick.
Heart disease is 100% preventable and reversible. Heart disease is strongly influenced by saturated fat, trans fat and cholesterol, which is only found in animal products. If man's greatest killer comes only from eating animals, then are we really designed to eat animals? How come other carnivores don't get heart diseases?
Are we really attracted to animal meat?
No, people are not attracted to meat unless they disguise it: fry, cook, bread, or pour over sauces. Does your mouth water when you see or smell a dead animal, see a bloody animal hanging with its guts out of its body? We are instinctively shocked by this. Maybe that's a sign? We have learned to eat meat but it is not made for us.
Would you eat your dog or cat?
Does your mouth water when you look at your dog? Or your rabbit? Or your goldfish? Or your cat? NO!
We have learned to eat meat
Cows, chickens, pigs, and fish are all sentient beings that don't want to die. Just like the animals we keep as pets. Pigs are intellectually smarter than cats and dogs, yet we eat bacon. Chickens are extremely intelligent, caring and complex, yet we eat chicken wings as if it were our birthright. You would never eat your Golden Retriever's shoulder or your cat's belly.
Through generations and generations of tradition we have learned to eat meat. Just because something is a tradition doesn't make it right. Some countries still neuter women. It's their tradition. Does that make up for it? Slavery has existed for thousands of years. It was tradition. Does that make up for it? There are many things that are not morally responsible, but are a tradition. We evolve and learn from our mistakes. Eating animals is no different. The world is waking up and veganism is catching on. Humans are simply not designed to be carnivores.
There has been a lie about the effects of animal consumption on our health
Like the tobacco industry, the meat, fish, egg and dairy industries have invested a lot of money in the success of their products. Before 1912, lung cancer was very rare. What changed? The marketing and sales of the cigarette industry soared! People started to smoke like chimneys and they were told it was good for them. Brilliant marketing!
In the 1950s, it was finally clear that cigarettes were the direct link to lung cancer, but the tobacco industry still lobbied at conferences, funded bogus studies, and still paid doctors to advertise how great their products were. They did this for nearly 50 years to cover the damage their product caused to the people.
90 years later, they were finally forced to put a label on their packaging indicating that their products cause cancer. All thanks to the help of activists and whistleblowers who rose up and fought for the truth after discovering the corruption. The same is happening in so many other industries around the world, including cattle breeding.
All the laws, food maps, surveys, and marketing campaigns that say animal products are good for people are all very corrupt and funded by the industry itself. Exactly the same as the cigarette industry. But guess what? It's coming out now! People wake up and share that information. This year, the CDC (Center for Disease Control) finally published on their website that processed meat is now categorized as a class 1 carcinogen. Which means, it causes cancer. Guess What else is a class 1 carcinogen? Tobacco! Hopefully it won't be 100 years before this becomes public knowledge.
"Vegan is not extreme. Paying people to kill baby cows so we can steal their mothers milk, now that is extreme."
